I love fall

Oh the wondrous season that is fall! Vibrant leaves, crisp afternoons, hot soy chai tea, and of course: getting sick! Ugh! I have been feeling terrible, but I thought I would post some pictures we took over the past few weeks of our adventures in leaf-strewn Tacoma. My baking enthusiasm led to over-saturating our interest and after a particularly beautiful few loafs of French bread –ahem- “turned” we decided to share our bounty with the friendly ducks at Point Defiance. As we headed for the pond Aaron said, “I feel a little embarrassed that we are going to feed them bad bread.” I laughed and responded, “If we are going to feel weird about anything it should probably be that two adults pushing thirty are going to feed ducks at the park!” We were immediately accosted by children who, after carefully watching for a minute, ran up and said, “That looks fun can we try?” I wasn’t happy to share, but I did. Happy children, happy ducks. And we had a pretty good time too…
