The Importance of Trees

I’ve been rather distressed and discouraged in my job search as of late, so today as I took a morning walk I tried to focus on things that make me happy and manage to make the unpleasant parts of life seem trivial. Most prominent on my mental list were Trees. I absolutely love trees. I love wide open spaces as well, but I don’t think I could ever feel at home too far from the forest.   3. We live near Arbor Lodge where J Sterling Morton, who started Arbor Day, lived. Every fall we go there as a family to see the trees there–they have so many different kinds. My daughter even has favorite trees and wants her senior pictures taken with them!

  7. Beautiful images! I have a photo of tree roots woven through the ruins in Tulum in my dining room. Every once in a while, I have to stop and marvel at the beauty of that tree.
