I’ve been rather distressed and discouraged in my job search as of late, so today as I took a morning walk I tried to focus on things that make me happy and manage to make the unpleasant parts of life seem trivial. Most prominent on my mental list were Trees. I absolutely love trees. I love wide open spaces as well, but I don’t think I could ever feel at home too far from the forest. Here are a few tree-ish favorites from my Etsy favs…

Trees? Yes. They speak solace to my soul.
wonderful pictures, as always. and i totally agree, trees are a total happy maker.
We live near Arbor Lodge where J Sterling Morton, who started Arbor Day, lived. Every fall we go there as a family to see the trees there–they have so many different kinds. My daughter even has favorite trees and wants her senior pictures taken with them!
Lisa, that is wonderful! Everyone should have a favorite tree…
Ah! Those masks of trickery that cover our lovely authentic selves. Hope your job prospects brighten. I’m thinking of you! Love all those exquisite visuals, by the way!
Thank you for your kind thoughts and words Triple Echo!
Beautiful images! I have a photo of tree roots woven through the ruins in Tulum in my dining room. Every once in a while, I have to stop and marvel at the beauty of that tree.
