Birds of a Feather…

I have been thinking for some time now that I need to wear more feathers. Apparently many people are feeling the same! Long ago I bought a silver and turquoise feather pendant that I used to wear all the time. This spring/summer I think I will wear plenty of feathers in my hair and from my ears. Lately I want to sleep in a  tipi in the woods and live like a wild thing in a sundress and leather boots. As soon as the weather gets just a bit warmer I think I just will…

The last image is from the wonderful shop, Crooked Thorne, that I have blogged about before. Sarah was so very kind and sent me a beautiful set of gypsy bangles a while back and I LOVE them!

Happy Spring!

  1. Everyone needs more feathers! Gorgeous!

  2. Yes to feathers! I’ve been meaning to make feather earrings for a long time now, I might skip my evening study session today and give them a try. Or I might just go to bed since it’s already 10:24 pm… agh. Spending spring break studying is no fun.

  3. i can so picture you in a sundress n leather boots with feathers on your ears or in your hair! :D

  4. At a park near here, there are teepees you can rent for the night/weekend. I would have thought that was so cool when I was younger. Now my idea of roughing it is a hotel without a pool!

  5. Without a doubt I can unquestionably imagine you with your strong natural good looks fashioning all things feathery! Such a perfect appendage for you! For some reason I keep seeing a vision of you smiling and wearing silkened earrings and/or headpiece playing peek-a-boo around those inviting tepees.
