We returned today from our 2nd annual trek to The Sasquatch Festival. It was very hot and I only managed to evade sunburn with a giant golf umbrella that Aaron had the wisdom to bring! Our favorite bands were all wonderful, but The Decemberists were particularly exceptional! I highly recommend their new album and all live performances. Another pleasant surprise: The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Karen O. is a truly fabulous force to be reckoned with.
Unfortunately, I battled a horrible headache most of the day and ended up quite sick by the end of it all. I’m still glad we went, but now I would like to spend the rest of the long weekend in the photo above. (Or take a day trip to Portland which is another adventure Aaron and I considering…) How was your weekend?
